The Photo Club is a group created by photographer Joey L and his assistant Willem Isbrucker. They created a parody video showing what could happen if a Canon boy met a Nikon girl, and of course the hilarity ensues. One of the funniest parts of the video is when they toss out the last lyric: “We couldn’t keep the act up we just had to face the facts, but hey look on the bright side at least we’re not a Pentax.”

Now you could just look at this as some clever youtube video, but a little research on Joey L reveals he is so much more. He found his passion at the ripe old age of 7 when he borrowed his Grandfather’s video camera for fun, and boasts that nothing has changed since then.

At 19 years old and with no formal training in his field, he is photographing some of the biggest names around, including: The Jonas Brothers, Danny Devito, 50 Cent, Robert Pattinson and the cast of Twilight, and the list continues.

Take a look at a few photos I grabbed from his website before you watch the video, but be sure to browse through his site, because there are so many amazing photographs there. It’s clear to see while this video was a funny parody, Joey L is definitely not a joke.
